The day before, Rector Natalia Stanislavovna Makarova met with foreign graduates of OSPU. Natalia Stanislavovna Makarova congratulated the students on successfully completing their studies. During their studies at our university, they gained valuable knowledge and experience that is highly valued in countries, and they now have a successful career through their education. The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere and many thanks were extended to the teaching staff of the university.
The traditional meeting with the rector is the final academic event aimed at adapting and integrating foreign citizens into modern Russian society. At the end of the training, we see graduates confident in their abilities and knowledge, ready to start a professional activity.
Foreign graduates and specialists of the international cooperation office, who accompanied them all the years of study, recall with a smile the first adaptation seminars with associate professors of the Department of Psychology Tatyana Tikholaz and Elena Cherkevich, at which students learned not to be afraid to express their thoughts in the classroom and overcome language barriers. Now their successes will contribute to the popularization of pedagogical education abroad, the development and strengthening of international partnerships, the promotion of the basic values and principles of our university.
"Foreign specialists who return to their homeland carry memories of their alma mater in their hearts. They can now share their impressions and inspire applicants to enter the Omsk State Pedagogical University, bearing the proud title of "Ambassador of the Omsk State Pedagogical University." Presenting graduates with a certificate of awarding the title of Ambassador of OSPU, we once again draw the attention of the students to the fact that they will forever remain part of the university, and by their professional skills, their compatriots will get an idea of the quality of education at a Siberian university," said Liudmila Bevziuk, head of the international cooperation office.
This year, 180 foreign students graduated from the university. We maintain warm relations with graduates and hope that the borders of our large international OSPU family will expand with new entrants and strengthen every year.
